Here we only list issues and patches, which have been/are of importance for JSC.

Following

• ​ghosting issue with mesh for gary kerbel
• ​Ghost zone generation does not work for array variables
• ​Part of the mesh is being improperly ghosted out from a 3d structured multiblock mesh

Waiting

• ​LibsimV2 Fortran-interface is missing hidden arguments
• ​SILO fails to configure in 2.10.0 on !BlueGene/Q -> Work-around: disable databases using hdf5
• ​build_visit_BGQ -> Work-around: use build_visit_BGQ script from here
• ​segfault in GetHomeDirectory() -> Work-around: make sure $HOME is set
• ​call usleep(..) inside !VisItDetectInputWithTimeout(..) -> no work-around - 100% cpu usage if waiting for user input

Resolved

• ​memory leak in visitgetenv()
• ​VisIt engine cannot connect back to viewer, if ...
• ​define F77_ID for !BlueGene/Q in !VisItFortran.h
• ​build_visit_BGQ
• ​build_visit2_8_0 script has wrong SVN_THIRDPARTY_PATH
• ​nek5000/jl/lob_bnd.c: Assignment between restrict pointer...
