== Account creation ==

The first three steps take place in the [https://trac.version.fz-juelich.de/bops/admin Trac Admin panel]:
1. [https://trac.version.fz-juelich.de/bops/admin/accounts/users Accounts - Users]:
 a. create a new user in the form on the right
2. [https://trac.version.fz-juelich.de/bops/admin/general/perm General - Permissions]:
 a. Add Subject to Group: Subject = Username, Group = svn_r
3. [https://trac.version.fz-juelich.de/bops/admin/subversion/svnauthz Subversion - Subversion Access]:
 a. In Subversion Groups, click on svn_r
 b. in the form Add Group Member to svn_r, Subject = Username, click Add
4. Add an entry to the table below
5. Adapt the standard reply in the section below and send it to the user

Please change your password after initial log in using the Preferences link
on the top right of the page.

Using

    svn co https://svn.version.fz-juelich.de/bops/trunk ./bops

you can check out the source code. Alternatively you can download the tarball 
provided, though the svn version is likely to be more recent. 
The root directory of the source tree contains a README file with information on how to 
compile and run the programme. Additional information is available on the trac wiki.

In case you have got questions, encounter any problems or even have a
concrete application in mind that you would like to try out, feel free
